The MacDev site has been shut down but this section of the forums will remain open. Bobindashadows gave up working on the site long ago and I don't feel like dedicating the resources to all its files any longer. The forums are still open for all to use freely and they will remain open for a long time.

Years ago I had a nice library of halo mods. Sometime over the past few years the folder seems to have been deleted. It pains me to think about it. I recently dusted off my copy of Halo and was hoping someone could give me some direction on where I could find the low-gravity mod for mac. I remember there was a POV mod as well. It made the game fullscreen. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

You can make the game run as full screen by altering the start up options. Hold command when launching the application and it should bring up those options. I haven't seen anything about a low gravity mod in a while but you could probably do that rather easily by manipulating some of the jump related parameters in the bipd tag, similar values in the vehi and playing around with the gravity values for all the proj tags. Not too hard but it would ake a bit of time.
I'll be honest I haven't seen a halo full mod in some time of that description. Seems like everything these days is big on skins, lots of gameplay tweaks and maybe some CE imports. |

Heh, I actually made a low gravity mod for Blood Gulch way back when. But I don't have access to it because my external hard drive isn't with me now, I could upload it after Thanksgiving.
I also have a bunch of other mods I saved by me and other people if you're interested. |

Thanks in advance If I remember correctly, there used to be a low gravity ppf patch which could be applied to any map. I still have the ppfmaster application but I cant track down any files. I still have the ppfmaster application but I cant track down any files. Here's a link to the files, there are three ppfs for three maps, and I have one bloodgulch.map already in there that I think I had applied the ppf to. Have fun! http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34844/LowGravity%20Folder.zip P.S. What I always liked to do is throw a grenade under the warthog and jump in, and when it goes really high up you wait for it to stop spinning and get out right when you come out on top and so you can stand on it, and snipe from up there. Yes !!! Thanks so much! I remeber the nade and jump in trick. People get a kick out of it when I host it. Any other files are welcome! Thanks again. |
